SUTRA magazine recently hosted a fantastic event in Johannesburg, South Africa, on the 19 June 2008.For the first time in South Africa, the value of the Indian market was profiled and detailed by leading international experts. This was done so that the business sector could better understand why this previously ignored niche market is now one of the most important both in South Africa and globally. The strong business ties between SA and India was detailed and the current global trend of "India Inc". The current SA India trade spans across a multitude of fields. This event was attended by many important VIPs from the Indian Government,media strategists, media planners, media owners, International television executives and print media. The need to have a high quality viable medium such as SUTRA Magazine was strongly emphasised as a means of communicating both to and from this SA Indian market, and the global Indian Market.
